Built in 1863 by Charles Garnier, the Monte Carlo Casino is no doubt the most beautiful casino of the world. Before going in, you remain a few minutes in front of the entrance in order to look carefully at this show : the lights, the atmosphere... the Casino totally changes at night. It is incredible. You are fascinated by the outside and you decide to enter. It is an architectural master-piece : frescoes and sculptures surround the gaming table.
- Monaco is home to one of the most famous casinos in the world: The Monte Carlo Casino. This casino was made famous long before the James Bond movie, Casino Royal was filmed here. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit this exclusive casino.
- The Casino de Monte-Carlo is open to players from 2 pm until the last table closes. Restricted access – over 18’s only Proof of identity required. Tours: Every day, except during the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Casino de Monte-Carlo is open to groups and tours from 10 am till 13 pm only, so that games aren't disturbed. Entrance fee: €17.
